Boundary's Borders

A boundary is something
to be built, established, founded,
released, permitted, or renewed.

Can it be embraced by two open arms-
uplifted as if to smile at the sky above-
and still stand firm and pure?

The wheeping heart is shredded into
listless strands, verbally barbed.
It whips about like the tail of a snake;

striking and sweeping.
Still, he manages to rearrange
the furniture with only the most

mindlessly possessed kind
of abandon. And what of that
which remains on the other side…

Does sulky mold peer through
a sheer crystalline wall?
But while a tinged ferny green

might perchance caress light’s
clear breath, glowing beams
burst through in delightful blooms

as if through the finest of lace.
Then shadow’s patterns dance delight
across the gracious stage of day.
